GOVERNOR ASA HUTCHINSON HEADS TO IOWA THIS WEEK Governor Hutchinson looks forward to continuing conversations with Iowans about the direction of America
BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Governor Asa Hutchinson, a Republican candidate for President as well as former governor of Arkansas and official in President George W. Bush's administration, announced today that he will be returning to Iowa this week for several events. This is Governor Hutchinson's first trip to Iowa since announcing his intent to run for President of the United States and his sixth trip since the beginning of the year. While in Iowa, Governor Hutchinson will participate in a meet and greet with members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Des Moines. He will also attend an event titled "Fentanyl Crisis in the Heartland." He will conclude this trip with a stop in Ankeny to join the Conservative Club for breakfast.
"I am excited to return to Iowa and continue having conversations about the direction our country is headed and the type of leaders America needs," said Gov. Asa Hutchinson, a Republican Presidential Candidate and former governor of Arkansas. "Conversations like these in Iowa help shape the narrative for the rest of the country. I look forward to meeting with as many Iowans as possible."
From Iowa, Governor Hutchinson will head to Indianapolis, Indiana and Bowling Green, Kentucky to fill out his week of travel.
