GOVERNOR ASA HUTCHINSON'S STATEMENT ON NEWS THAT SECRETARY MIKE POMPEO WILL NOT RUN FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Governor Asa Hutchinson, a Republican candidate for President as well as former governor of Arkansas and official in President George W. Bush's administration, released the following statement this evening upon hearing the news that former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had decided not to run for President of the United States of America:
"Secretary Pompeo has an important voice within our Party. I am thankful for his dedicated service and unwavering patriotism. I know this decision was not a light one, but I hope that our nation will continue to benefit from his public service." — Gov.
